I dunno how to describe this week. Is it bad or just bizarre?
First, i got notified on tues nite that my trial is next mon, which means less than 7 days to read a 32 page murder case and try to pick up a case theory. Which also means lots of apologising for dumping the testimony and marking it "urgent" on my witness who has to memorise stuff amidst her binder prep.
Then, I had to turn down Winston and Yuchou on presenting during the Waseda video conference.
After that, i collected my property assignment, only to find out that i got cheated because the marker's comments showed that he didnt read my script properly at all. And yeah i didnt do well. Quite sick of people asking me how i did, then say that i am being false modest, and then turn all silent when i reveal my actual grade.
And oh, i managed to take a wrong turn while running in Woodbridge Hospital on wed nite and end up in front of a mortuary. Well at least it "spurred" me on to run faster during that stretch.
But, of all things, my day perked up due to my prop tutor. He is seriously a damn nice guy. I asked to meet him and he told me "do come" and later explained why he can only meet me on thurs. And from his schedule, he is really busy. haha that is a weird way to get cheered up, but i guess i just like it how he makes the effort to address my concerns.
So i still cant decide whether this week is bad or just bizarre.

I realise I haven't posted any pix on my hokkaido trip.. so here are some pix! Will prob post more pix when i have time, but now here's the rather interesting stuff in Japan!
I went crazy over Kit Kat in Japan. They had the wildest flavours that you can imagine! Clockwise from the top, Yubari melon (rock melon), Kiwi, Pineapple, Orange, Cherry. The Yubari Melon kit kat tastes the best, follow by Kiwi. Cherry is available in Singapore but I don't think its that great. Missing from the picture is the Green Tea Kit Kat, which is also damn good.
Now this wasn't bought in Japan, but rather in KL by my parents. Rather appropriate to post this though, since we are talking about Kit Kat. This is not really nice actually, but makes for another picture into my Kit Kat photo collection.
Man Utd! I got this photo in a Sport Shop thats like 5 stories tall. It has 1 entire section devoted to the Japanese Team. Lots of autographed jerseys too. Its almost like a tourist attraction in itself.
Had fresh abalone for dinner one night, together with Kobe Beef. It sounds really decadent, but then you gotta consider that its actually cheaper to eat such stuff in Japan than in Singapore. Of course, its even cheaper NOT to eat such stuff at all, but thats not the point. That, in the picture, are live abalones being grilled. Not a pretty sight, if you ask me.
But this is a pretty sight! Miwa Asao, the damn pretty beach volleyball player! She came to Singapore in May I think. She's really a big hit in Japan, for obvious reasons. This was taken in an Adidas store thats again 4 or 5 stories high. The Japanese really love their mega stores.
Wanted picture taken in Hokkaido. These dudes are wanted for murder, if you can make out the jap characters. The picture below shows their likely appearance while on the run.
And this is taken to show to joanna. This is actually a sign board outside a curry shop. The japanese love their curry rice. In fact, some crazy ass tried to patent curry! The animals (and 1 turbaned indian) stand for how hot your curry is. The rabbit is of course harmless, while the dragon... well it spits out fire, so order at your own peril.
Well more photos of scenery next time! and of course more photos of the big crabs and raw tuna and hotsprings and pretty gals and greenery too!
