I went out to Chinatown with my family for dinner yesterday.. funny how they treat it like i'm on hol already when i still have contract hell...
And surprise! see wat i saw on my way the restaurant.. for the uninitiated, "精武" (jing wu) martial arts hall was the name of the sch that 霍元甲 (huo yuan jia) founded way back in China (go watch the movie to find out!).. perhaps he started a branch here in Singapore? that would mean like he's one of the first few to embrace globalisation before schs like HC or Raffles international actually did so!
The dinner was some scrumptious meal at some shanghainese restaurant.. and the highlight of the meal was 大闸蟹 or hairy crab! the roe is seriously creamy and nice.. haha and once again its all thanks to my sis who treated the whole family.. so nice to have a lawyer in the family who has no time to spend her salary eh? the family gets the benefit in the end..
